Serving

  • Makes 2 parathas

Ingredients for dough

  • Wheat flour – A little less than 1/2 cup or 50 gms
  • Oats Flour – A little more than ½ cup or 50 gms
  • Salt a pinch
  • Water as required

Ingredients for Stuffing

  • Potatoes 3-4 boiled
  • ½ tsp Chaat masala
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • 50 gms boiled Green peas
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp ginger chopped
  • 1 tsp Green chillies chopped
  • Few Coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil/ghee for making paratha

Method for stuffing

  • Mash the potatoes well using masher.
  • Mix in all the other ingredients written under stuffing with the potatoes in a bowl and keep it aside.

Method for Dough for paratha

  • Take both flours add salt, add water and start kneading the dough.
  • Make smooth and soft dough. Cover it with a wet muslin cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes knead the dough again one more time to make it smooth.
  • Now take one dough ball at time. Dip it into dry flour and roll into 3-4 inch diameter circle using rolling pin and board.
  • Put potato stuffing in the center. Pinch it into the center to seal it properly. Again roll it gently.
  • Heat the tawa on medium heat. Once hot place the rolled paratha on it .
  • Flip it and cook other side as well. Apply some oil/ghee on the surface. Flip again and cook it by pressing gently.
  • Serve with dollop of butter with yogurt/raita
