A little more than 2/3rd cup (100 gms) KOSH Broken oats
A little more than 1 cup (180 gms) Sugar
Few Almond and pista chopped
Few dried rose petals for garnishing (optional)
Grease a mould with butter.
Melt sugar in a pan till golden brown in color. Keep stirring the sugar on low flame all the time for this.
Then add KOSH broken oats and mix well.
Then add butter and nuts and pour the mixture on a greased baking tray immediately else the mixture will set.
Garnish the mixture in the pan immediately with more nuts and rose petals.
Let it cool and then demould it and cut while still a little warm else it won’t cut due to hardening. If this happens then put the chikki back in the mould and warm the pan over gas to heat it up and then demould and cut chikki immediately on a chopping board.
Cool the pieces completely and store in an airtight container.
