Ingredients

  • ½ cup Kosh Oats Atta
  • 1 ½ cup Maida
  • Ghee
  • water
  • 1 cup khoya
  • 1/3rd cup Kosh Instant Oats
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp elaichi powder
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped almonds

Method

  • Mix Kosh Oats Atta & Maida to knead it into a dough using some ghee and water. Keep it aside for an hour.
  • To prepare the filling, take some ghee in a pan.
  • Add khoya to it and saute on low heat.
  • Keep stirring till the khoya turns slightly brown. Take it off the gas and let it cool.
  • Add KOSH Instant Oats, sugar, elaichi powder and almonds to the cooked khoya.
  • Take small lumps of the dough prepared with Kosh Oats Atta and roll them into small chapatis.
  • Apply water on the circumference and place a small portion of the filling inside it carefully.
  • Gently press the edges to ensure the filling is properly sealed.
  • Heat some oil in a kadhai on a medium flame.
  • Fry the gujiyas till they turn golden brown.
  • Once cooled, you are gujiyas are ready to be served!
