Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked Kosh Instant Oats
  • 1 cup boiled potatoes
  • ½ cup corn (boiled and crushed)
  • Beans (as required)
  • peas (as required)
  • carrot (as required)
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp rava
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp dhania jeera powder
  • ½ cup peas (boiled)
  • Butter (as required)
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • Few pomegranate seeds
  • ½ cup chilled curd
  • Chat masala powder (as required)
  • Some finely chopped pudina
  • Fresh cherries (for garnishing)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method

  • Mix Kosh Oats, mashed boiled potatoes, boiled and crushed corn, cornflour, rava and butter to make the dough for the katori.
  • Apply a little oil to hands and make shape for 12 katoris from the dough and deep fry them.
  • Boil peas and carrots.
  • Assemble deep-fried katoris in a pate. First add boiled peas and carrots in katori. Decorate with pomegranate seeds, cherries and pudina. Serve with yogurt.
