Mix the oats in little milk to make a paste and then add more so that you form a smooth batter.
Heat the rest of the milk on medium flame and bring to a boil. As it boils, reduce heat and pour in the oats while stirring the milk constantly.
Add cornflour and continue to cook, for say 5-7 minutes, till a thick mixture is formed.
Add in the rose flavoured syrup and mix well. If you feel it's not as sweet as you want then add 2 to 5 tbsp of sugar as per the sweetness you desire. I didn't add any as I wanted it to be mildly sweet . If you add sugar then stir it well so that the sugar dissolves in it.
Cook it for 2 more minutes on very slow flame , but keep on stirring it all the time to avoid lumps.
Pour into moulds and freeze till set. Unmould and serve.
You may pour some more Syrup on top of the kulfi like a gola and top With some Nuts.
