• 1 cup Kosh Instant Oats
  • 1/4 cup Kosh Broken oats
  • 1 boiled raw Banana
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 4 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 5 tablespoon besan
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • Salt as per taste

  • For Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 onion
  • 1 garlic
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 5 tablespoons almond cream
  • 1 tablespoon Kosh oats atta
  • water as per requirement
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon oats flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon haldi


  • Preheat the oven at 175C
  • Take a pan and 1 teaspoon oil and then add jeera. When jeera splutters up then add 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion and ginger and garlic and sauté them a little for about 5-6 minutes
  • When it starts to change the colour, then lower the flame, add besan and stir it for 1 minute.
  • Add 1 cup of water, add oats and keep on stirring it till it starts to get thicken and then turn off the flame and keep it aside
  • When the Kosh Oats mixture cools down a bit, add boiled mashed raw banana and add flour, coriander leaves that are finely chopped, salt, red chilli powder and a little oil and mix it well.
  • Add some drops of water and make a smooth dough.
  • Make round balls of this mixture and stuff one raisin in the middle of each ball, roll in the broken oats.
  • Bake these Oats koftas in the preheated oven/microwave.
  • Heat for 15 minutes until the balls form a crust. Once done keep them aside.
  • Take a small bowl, add flour and water and make a thin batter and keep it aside for a while too.
  • Take a saucepan and add some oil. Then add jeera, and when jeera starts to change colour, add tejpaata (bay leaf), cloves, sukhadhaniya and stir fry. Let it cook for about 2-3 minutes. Then add 1 finely chopped onion to it.
  • When onions starts to leave oil by its sides, then add ginger and garlic and then add chopped green chillies and cookfor another 3 minutes. Then add finely chopped tomato and add then red chilli powder, garam masala, haldi and salt as per taste and mix it well
  • When tomato starts leaving oil, add 1 cup water and bring to boil and then addKosh oats koftas and also add full cream and mix it well. Also add mixture of flour and then bring to boil.
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve it with aloo naan or steamed rice. Kosh Oats Malai Koftas are ready to be served.
