Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Kosh Oats Atta
  • 1 cup khoya (Grated)
  • 1 and 1/2 cup water, warm (60-70 degrees)
  • 10 pista, blanched and chopped into thin pieces
  • 8 almonds, blanched and chopped into thin pieces
  • Few Saffron strands
  • 6 Tbsp ghee
  • 4 cups sugar syrup

Method

  • Start with mixing the water, Kosh Oats Atta & wheat flour to form a smooth lump-less batter in a bowl.
  • Take another bowl and mix the khoya with water together to form a thick batter.
  • Mix both the batters together to form a lump-less smooth batter of thick consistency.
  • Now, heat a pan on low flame and melt ghee in it
  • Add 1Tbsp of the mixed batter in circular motion in the center of the pan of ghee.
  • Fry the malpua on low heat from both the sides till they turn golden
  • Drain them from the ghee and then dip in sugar syrup.
  • After some time take out the malpue from the sugar syrup and layer them in a plate.
  • Garnish with almonds, pistachio and saffron.
