Masala Poori

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kosh Oats + Wheat Atta
  • ¼ cup besan flour
  • 1 tbsp rava
  • ½ tsp of turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp of red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp of coriander powder
  • ½ tsp of ajwain
  • 1 tbsp of kasuri methi
  • 1 tbsp of finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Water for making dough
  • Oil for deep frying

Method

  • In a large mixing bowl, Add flour, besan flour, rava, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, ajwain, kasuri methi, coriander leaves and salt. Add water slowly and make a smooth tight dough.
  • Divide the dough into equal parts and roll it into a circular disc of approx. 3 to 4 inch diameter.
  • Heat oil in the kadai and once it is hot and not smoking, deep fry the poories on both the side.
  • Serve the poori with potato bhaji.
