Instant Oats Mix Veg Uttapam

Ingredients

    For Batter:
  • ½ cup Kosh instant oats
  • 1/4 cup of semolina
  • 2 tablespoons of rice flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of curd
  • Water for making batter
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • Oil for making Uttapam
    For Topping:
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup finely chopped tomato
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup of grated carrot
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped spring onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves

Method

  • In a mixer grinder, add Kosh instant oats, semolina, rice flour, salt and grind it well to make a powder out of it.
  • Add curd and enough water and grind it one more time.
  • Transfer this content to a bowl and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  • The batter would look thick now. Adjust it with some more water and turn it as pourable consistency.
  • Heat the tawa.
  • Pour the ladle full of batter and bake 3 to 4-inch diameter Uttapam.
  • Top it with the ingredients given under the topping.
  • Drizzle some oil and cover it using the lid.
  • Once cooked, transfer it to lunchbox and server it with sambar.
