Paneer Packets

Ingredients

    For Packets:
  • 1 cup Kosh Oats + Wheat Atta
  • Salt to taste
  • Water for making dough
    For Paneer Stuffing:
  • 3 tsp of oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 small finely chopped onion
  • 2 finely chopped green chillies
  • Salt to taste
  • 250 grams Paneer
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons coriander leaves

Method

    For Packets:
  • Add flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Add water slowly and make a smooth dough.
  • Keep the dough covered till the paneer stuffing is ready
    For Paneer Stuffing:
  • Heat oil in a medium size kadai/pan.
  • Add cumin seeds till it gets splutter.
  • Add onion and green chilli. Add salt to tasteand Sauté it without changing its colour.
  • Add Paneer and cook it in low flame without changing its colour.
  • Once paneer is cooked, add the coriander leaves and mix it well.
  • Cool down this mixture.
    For Preparing Packets:
  • Divide the dough into small balls.
  • Roll each ball into a smooth circular disc of 10 cm diameter and cut all the sides to make it square.
  • Place 2 tablespoons of cooled down paneer mixture on it.
  • Fold one side and seal it to other. Using fork, press it gentle on the side that is used to seal and ensure there is no gap.
  • Heat the skillet and when it is hot, place the packets and cook it on both the sides.
  • Use oil while cooking. Cook till the packets gets crisp.
  • Once cooked, serve it with green chilli chutney and sauce.
