Spinach Wrap

Ingredients

    For Spinach Wrap:
  • 1 cup of Kosh Oats + Wheat Atta
  • 1 cup of tightly packed Spinach leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 green chillies
    For Rolling:
  • Hummus as required
  • 1/4 cup of thinly sliced carrot
  • 1/4 cup of thinly sliced green bellpepper
  • 1/4 cup of thinly sliced yellow bellpepper
  • 1/4 cup of thinly sliced purple cabbage
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black Pepper to taste

Method

    For Spinach Wrap:
  • Blanch the spinach leaves exactly for a minute and drain the water.
  • Grind it with green chilli and make a puree.
  • In a wide bowl, take a cup of Kosh Oats + Wheat Atta and add the spinach puree. Mix well.
  • Slowly add the water and make soft and smooth dough. Divide the dough into equal sized balls.
  • Roll each ball into approximately 15cm diameter circular disc.
  • Cook both the sides and keep it aside.
    For Rolling:
  • Place the cooked wrap on the cutting board.
  • Grind it with green chilli and make a puree.
  • Smear the hummus all over, leaving space around the corner of the wrap. It needs approximately 2 tablespoons of hummus.
  • Place the julienned carrot, sliced bell peppers, purple cabbage.
  • Sprinkle salt and ground balck pepper. Fold on the sides and roll tightly.
  • Cut into middle of the roll and serve.
