Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Kosh Oats + Wheat Atta
  • ¼ cup bajra flour
  • ¼ cup besan flour
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • ¼ cup of crushed roasted peanuts
  • 1 finely chopped green chilli
  • 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
  • ¼ tsp ajwain
  • ½ tsp of red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp of coriander powder
  • 1 tsp of finely chopped ginger
  • 1 tsp + 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying
  • Water for making dough

Method

  • In a large mixing bowl, add kosh Oats + Wheat Atta, bajra flour, besan flour, rice flour, crushed peanuts, green chilli, onion, ajwain, red chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger, 1 tsp of sesame seeds and salt Add water slowly and make a smooth dough.
  • Let the dough rest for an hour.
  • After an hour, divide the dough into equal parts.
  • Spread the clean damp cloth and pat the dough balls in a circular disc with the help of water.
  • Make holes in center for uniform cooking. Transfer this patted Thalipeeth to the hot tawa/griddle.
  • Cover and cook both the sides. Use oil for proper cooking.
  • Once it is cooked both the side, server with curd-based raita and pickle.
