Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kosh instant oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon cummin & Mustard seeds.
  • 2 sprigs curry leaves
  • half onion medium chopped
  • 1 Green chilly chopped
  • 1/4 capsicum chopped
  • salt to taste
  • chopped coriander leave
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil/ghee
  • 3/4 cup water

Method

  • Roast oats in pan until colour changes from white to brown & then keep it aside in a plate.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in pan & then add chillies, onion, mustard & cummin seeds. Keep watching & move them in pan for a minute.
  • Add tomato, capsicum & sprinkle salt & cook it for 3 min.
  • Now add roasted oats (which we kept aside in plate in 1 point) & cook for 2 minutes
  • Add 3/4 cups of water & stir it for 1 minutes When it starts boiling. Put lid over it & keep it under medium flame.
  • Cook it until water gets absorbed & oats get cooked thoroughly, for about 5 min.
  • Add coriander leaves.
  • Now enjoy the dish.
