Ingredients

  • • 3/4th cup Kosh Broken oats
  • • 1/4th cup sooji
  • • 1 cup mixed vegetables - Cabbage, capcicum, carrot, peas
  • • 1 large onion
  • • 2-3 green chillis
  • • 1 small piece grated ginger
  • • 2 table spoon oil
  • • 1 teaspoon mustard seed
  • • 1 teaspoon urad Dal
  • • Salt to Taste
  • • 2 table spoon of grated coconut
  • • 2 table spoon of lemon juice

Method

  • Add oil to a hot pan
  • When the oil is hot, add cumin, mustard, dals and hing
  • Fry till the onions, green chillis, grated ginger and vegetables are brownish and cooked.
  • Add 3/4th cup Kosh oats and 1/4th cup sooji, salt and fry for one to two minutes without burning. Sprinkle 3 tbsp. water.
  • Garnish with grated coconut, coriander leaves and lemon juice. Serve with coconut chutney.
